Emily graduated from University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's degree in social work. She obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky as well. She currently has her CSW license and is working toward her LCSW. Emily has several years of experience in the social work field working with families and children Emily is looking forward to serving the families of CAFCA.
Gray is originally from Louisiana and is now living in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling in May of 2024. Gray is the father of the most beautiful daughter in the world, and if he is not spending time with her/keeping her out of trouble, he is most likely hibernating or watching movies.
Stephanie is from Nicholasville, Kentucky. She recently graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with her Masters in Social Work. Stephanie completed one of her internships at CAFCA and is excited to be back!!! Stephanie is married and has two children and three dogs. In her free time, she loves to cook and spend time with family.
Margie graduated from University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work. She has been working with children and families for over 35 years.
Doug received his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University, as well as his Master of Arts in History from American University. Doug taught high school History and Government for several years. Doug is a Clinical Social Worker. He earned his Masters degree from University of Kentucky.
Miranda is from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She has a BS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Campbellsville University and a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Seminary. Miranda is passionate about helping families heal. In her free time, she enjoys reading, play with her dog, hanging out with family, playing games, running and being involved with her church.
Caitlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with CAFCA as well as a counselor in the school setting. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Family Sciences and then earned her Master of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University in School Counseling. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Makayla is the Lead Therapist in our Lexington office. She gained her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University in 2019. She is originally from Danville and enjoys working with individuals in and around her hometown.
Megan completed an internship with CAFCA and is excited to return in a more official capacity! Megan received her Bachelor's degree in Family Sciences and Master's degree in Social Work, both from the University of Kentucky. She currently has her CSW license and is working towards becoming an LCSW. Megan has previously worked with substance abuse and eating disorders and looks forward to serving the children and families of CAFCA.
Amy graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a B.A. in Human Services and Counseling in 2021. She is now pursuing a Master of Education in Counseling. Amy interned with CAFCA in 2021 as an undergraduate student, works for CAFCA as a Documentation Specialist, and has returned for her graduate internships. She is married with thirteen children and one grandbaby. Amy enjoys working out and watching her kids play sports.
Raegan graduated from Campbellsville University in 2019 with a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology. She completed her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University. She is passionate about working with children and their families. She completed her internship with CAFCA and worked as a CCSA before coming on as a therapist.
Shelby graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in social work and a minor in child and family studies. She obtained her master's degree in social work from Campbellsville University. She currently has her CSW license and is working toward her LCSW. Shelby has several years of experience in the social work field. Shelby is a Boyle County Native and is looking forward to serving the schools in this district.
Alyssa graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and from Lindsey Wilson College with a Master’s in Counseling and Human Development before obtaining her LPCA. In her free time she enjoys playing board games and spending time with her family and friends. Alyssa looks forward to serving the Nelson County schools where she grew up.
Karlee Caswell is from Lexington. She earned a Bachelors degree in Special Education from the University of Kentucky, and most recently earned a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. She is most passionate about serving individuals with differences, and advocating for mental health support for all individuals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with my family and friends and baton twirling!
Breonna graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor's degree in social work. She obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She currently has her CSW license and is working toward obtaining her LCSW. She enjoys spending her free time reading, with family, or traveling. She is looking forward to working with and serving the families of CAFCA!
Danielle graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 2011 with a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development with a Mental Health emphasis. She also has an undergrad degree in Psychology, also from Lindsey Wilson College.
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelors Degree at Berea College and went on to complete a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Development. She is a trauma certified clinician that has a passion for aiding in the process of healing for children and families.
Christy graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters in Social Work. She is currently a CSW and working to obtain her LCSW. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside and playing tennis.
Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BS in Education and then earned her MS from Radford University in Counseling and Human Development. She is also a counselor in the school setting where she works with adolescents. She is a certified Reality Therapist and believes in providing services that are individually tailored to help her clients meet their goals.
Tamme earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Education and Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has worked with Children and Family Counseling for 15 years and couldn't ask for a better opportunity to serve a variety of people in all walks of life.
Christina graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology and Sociology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from Saint Leo University and with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of the Cumberlands. Christina is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a focus on Child and Adolescent Trauma from an advanced integrated approach. She is also a Certified Telemental Health trauma provider.
Lucy holds a B.S. in Psychology and Theology from Houghton University and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals from a holistic perspective. When she is not interacting with others, she will most likely be figure skating or composing piano pieces.
Bailee earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from Asbury University. She began working at CAFCA as a Targeted Case Manager and is working towards her LCSW. In their free time, Bailee and her husband invest in the youth of the community through coaching.
Agnes received her Bachelors in Psychology from Hunter College and Masters in Social work from Adelphi University while living in New York. She is currently a CSW working towards obtaining her LCSW. She enjoys outdoor activities and cooking vegan meals for her husband and three children. Agnes takes a wholistic approach to life and is currently exploring the role nutrition plays in mental health.
Zoe Wafford earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Midway University and a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. She enjoys being outdoors either playing with her big fur baby, Olly, or fishing. She is looking forward to see what the future has in store and making difference anytime she can.
